I realise we're all in the same boat it's just that my Farm has only reached it's full potential once (for three days).

Any way bottom line is all WU are important for the science, and I do have 30+ threads working for me so can't really grumble :D

wish I could get anything like that from where I work - the systems are all good but everything goes via servers on another site and the connection is awful :eek:
I fear a bit of borging would make the whole lot just die, in the face! :p
 
not actually my work's (I'm the IT manager here, so our PC's are already Folding 22/7 :D )
the 5 new borgs are upstairs in another office, asked the boss and after a week of explaining what Folding is and does he said yes.

Its an accountants so low cpu usage too, don't tell anyone but I'm working on the whole business park :D

edit: aiming for 100 threads :p

ahhh just one of those silly things like "kill it with fire"

I wrote "die" and the "in the face" bit just followed on, wasn't aimed at you but rather our rubbish IT system :)

Afterall people don't usually like being stomped, so can't blame them as I do tend to rub their noses in it :D
 
new rig running stable at 3.6
gained additional 5500points on 3dmark01,
+1000 on 03, +400 on 05 and Superpi droped from 49 to 36sec @ 1M

not great but ok for stock volts and air cooling ;)

currently folding two threads about 20% faster than stock (2.66)

was a bit of a late night :rolleyes: - all work units on stock cooling. even at a 10% OC 3 of the pc crashed this morning (were running two threads at 100% :D )

No surprises they were the ones in the middle of the room with no air movement.

Ram proformance was biggest gain - pc2700 - from 4 4 4 8 to 2.2 3 3 5
with 10% oc striped 5 sec's of SPi :D

In real terms my workstation will now cruch a 775 215minutes quicker

Edit: just checked logs - actually less that 16 mins now (was over 19) that over 5h quicker :eek:
