New Machine

Yea been looking at the first lot you linked.... I want your personal view on something..The whole reason i am looking to buy new it because 3 days ago i bought a desktop from a shop....which was the Acer Predator Sniper system specs are....

#Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q9550 @ 2.83ghz
# 4GB (2 x 2GB) 800MHz DDR2
# Dual nVidia GeForce 9600GT 512MB Graphics x 2 SLI
# Dual 640GB hard drives
# 750W power supply

Now the reason why im in a dliemma is becuase the one i have was off the shop floor got it home and the warrently tag was broke so they have agreed for a refund or a BRAND new system for the same price as this... this was cheaper cos it has slight damage and was on shop floor... orginally in store this was £1000 i got it for £800 but if i take it back ill get a brand new one for £800 also...

What im trying to get as is the specs in this pc....In my view they suit me down to the ground for what ill need it for..Do you think its worth the hassle of making a new one when i have a perfectly good system already built?

a lot of people said its not worth £800 but that does include a logitech G11 keyboard and a Logitech G5 mouse aswell, which i didnt think was too bad..

Just want to know if you think i have wasted my money totally on this machine i have now and should build my own... or keep this one

Thanks in advance

The machine you bought isn't worth keeping tbh. 775 is a dead socket now, and like you have seen. I've build you a pc for £930 and whipes the floor of the Acer computer you bought.

I know the Acer came with a G11 and a G5 but mate, thats £60! Compared to how much you are losing on buying the pc itself as the specs are total rubbish. The Cpu is good, and the memory but the rest, no. Get rid mate and build you own :D

9600 gt, pffftttt. I would rather have the pc without the gfx card lol!

Like I said before mate, look at guides on building your own or tell me the location you like in the Uk and I may build it for you :D

Sorry, you live to far from me lol, so I couldn't help you build it./

What I mean is, the computer you got for £800, the Acer computer, its basically a "dead computer". What I mean is that the pc parts inside the pc are old tech. No longer updating them anymore. You won't be able to update the cpu, memory or the motherboard. You can update the gpu but then you are risking bottlenecks and The pc ain't worth the £800.

Build it your self mate, take it back or what ever, and buildl it your self.

You get so much more for your money if you do, you are silly if you kept the Acer pc, not classed as a gaming pc tbh in my books.
