New Mass Effect Screenshots

Mass Effect looks amazing, cant wait to get my 360. There are so many great games coming this year.

I wonder how KotOR III would look if Bioware got there hands on it.

Unreal Engine 3 really is something else. From what I've seen so far this is the most *must have* title coming.
in my opinion.

Can't believe that's an Xbox 360, some of those screenshots are amazing! Definetly going to have to look into this game a bit more, thanks for the links

looks good but i reckon the 360 will suffer slow downs......

And why do you rekon that? Gears of War had no slowdowns and uses the same unreal 3 engine...albeit a slightly tweaked one for their own needs.

Gears of War does have some low FPS during certain cut scenes (specifically during one of the very first where the sqaud is landing), but I think it's more down to it being poorly implimented than the system just not handling it. Reason I say that is that there are loads of far better looking and more performance demanding scenes later that have perfectly fine FPS.

What I'm trying to say is, it'd be very easy for a game of this size to have slow down in places, but if they work hard at it and polish it up properly (and it looks like they are) then there's no reason for it should.

I dont actually remember whether there was slowdown in that particular cutscene but during gameplay i never experienced any...

I had it every time in the same place (have watched it 3 times now), but agreed, there doesn't seemto be any during gameplay or more demanding scenes which suggests it's not a performance issue.

Wow, am really looking forward to this game now :D

Clearly your 360 is just fuxxored. :p

It's not that unreasonable to 'reckon' that a game of this size and type will suffer from slowdown, I would be surprised if it's perfect.
