new motah

Looks brilliant, although as a toy. I'd be very worried about running that thing for business though or for anything crucial :D

Best of luck with it

I know it might be a bit temperamental (no offense), but anybody else surprised at the amount of power you could get for such little money these days?

12.5p/BHP. 33% better than the 380bhp Nissan 200 @ 18p/bhp. ;)

Yes you can get some powerfull cars for little cash, E36 M3 Evo etc BUT they still come with mega running costs, which is something that barry boy jr forget about.

Is it much more fun than the 997 911 turbo with launch control?? lol

Seriously though nice car but id be wary of the pricetag....could come back and bite u on the ass.

ive known a couple barrys anihilate M3 engines, engines which i used to think were pretty indestructable.

im not sure what sort of fun this car will be. i know its going to be point/shoot/brainless/detached sort of fast, but if i want to really go for a drive, ill still have the golf

I think it's good you've got it - enjoy the sound of that lovely V6. It may go bang next week, or 10 years from now, but it's always good to take a risk. :)

I think you're maths is wrong.
£12.50p / bhp is more like it.
My 540i worked out at £10/bhp

How much oil does it take and what grade, cost of sparkplug, is it currently running NGK's 7e's iirc which are a step colder, or VW plugs? NGK's are only 1.30 each but need changing every 10k.

Consumables aren't that bad on the S4, it's the unexpected things which are crippling. They apparently love eating MAF's, various valves and the worst thing is there's two of most things!
