Nice colour but if i was spending that much on a BMW i would have gone with a 320 or older 330D if possible, never been a fan of the Compact's but if you like it thats all that counts

I stuck in reverse at the lights a few times in the first few weeks of owning mine

A 4dr was totally out of the question. It was between the coupe and compact.

Insurance choose for me in the end.. My insurer wouldn't touch me on a 318Ci but would on any model of compact, even a 325Ti and I have the soft spot for it. Wanted one for a long time now.

How old are you? Surely if I can insure a 330i you can given you are presumably older than me?

20, 4 years ncb (NU made a balls up a few years ago with my passplus

)

I dont have the best of postcode's for insurance

I have to say I don't really like the compact. However you've got a car you wanted, and it's got a decent engine - if you're happy (Which it sounds like you are

) then that's all that is important.

I'm happy with it. Rang up the dealership today, its been machine polished. Waiting for the papework to come thu for my privlate plate and it will be ready to collect.

Picked the car up Thursday afternoon. I'm impressed

Had the wheels off today to clean them up, going to give it a good polish today/tomorrow.
