This looks quite good - http://www.wirelessinfo.com/content/Black-8GB-Nokia-N95-hits-FCC.htm

Black, bigger battery, bigger screen, 8gb - but no micro sd. I wonder if it will come out over here - its coming out in the US.

Edit:

The facts so far (well just the interesting phones):

N95 8Gb
Same specs as the current N95 apart from the below changes.
- Comes with 128MB ram so we'll get about 90MB free which is about 4.5x bigger of free RAM
- Larger 2.8" Screen but with similar overall dimensions of the phone (same thickness)
- Zenon flash
- Larger capacity battery - roughly 30% more
- Slightly different slider action, apparently improved and far more solid build.
- New OS navigation - looks slicker but cant be sure until reviewed.
- And obviously 8gb internal memory - but the biggy is No expandable memory (not good)
- N gage platform
- Out in Early Oct
- new Maps sw, faster camera + other improvements here and there
- €560/$761 (I am guessing unsubsidised)

N81/N81 8Gb
- 2 megapixel (1600x1200 pixels) camera, MPEG-4 VGA video capture of up to 15fps
- Wifi, 3g
- New OS navigation
- micro SD slot/8gb internal flash
- ipodesque touch 'wheel' on front (looks great)
- gaming buttons on one end to make use of:
- N gage gaming platform
- 96MB of ram with about 42MB free ram
- Out in Q4 this year
- N81 8Gb (€431/$585) or N81 €360/$490 pre-bunged with a 2GB microSD card

All specs/pics here - www.nseries.com

and...

Nokia iphone
- Ipod clone
- looks like an iphone but most likely with 3g (and worse battery life!:p)
- Out next year

The black version is the Music Edition without the built in GPS.

So then its not an N95 then is it??...looks like an improved version of the n80 if you ask me.

I'll probably just buy the black fascia when they are available.

The 8Gb black is the Euro/Asia version. The US have their own 3G version of the N95.

http://www.wirelessinfo.com/content/US-3G-version-of-Nokia-N95-gets-FCC-approval.htm this is the US one.

Thats what I thought, however this was found registered with the FCC - ie the US.

I like the bigger screen but not the added bulk - that was certainly a contributing factor why I didnt get the N80 - that think is a brick, and the current N95 isnt.

So I guess f this is new the N81 will be news to you as well:

You'll find most Nokia smartphones are reviewed by the FCC, whether they're intended to be released in the US or not.

Nokia sell a lot of smartphones not originally intended for the American market (such as the original N95) through their own shops, their online store and through partners such as Dell.

For example, the E90 is available for an eye-watering $899.

N81 is old news. Both the photoshop and the dummy are the N81. The N98 is a mockup by some random person.

I know, I posted those on here months ago, just posting the info again as some people might be interested. The N81 cant be both versions posted, I suspect the 2nd one is the final model.

where did you read it has a 30% better battery life? Linky?

Well it uses a large capacity battery 1200mAH as opposed to a 950mAH on the N95 and I read somwhere about the 30% - seems to tie in. Anyway here is the official site and the specs are on there:

http://www.nseries.com

It also comes with 128MB ram so we'll get about 90MB free which is about 4.5x bigger of free RAM
