New occupant in our house...

Them big ears is good for huntin'!
I miss the endless fun of a kitten, watching them go crazy for half an hour then crashing out then wake up and repeat

I want a Maine Coooooooooooooooooooooon!!!! a big silver/grey beast!

The males get stupidly big!

Me and the Mrs want one, so have been doing lots of googling!

re: the indoor cat question, certain breeds are more suited to being indoor cats, and is recommended by some breeders. For example Maine Coons are good indoors but Norwegian forest cats (who are equally stunning) are natural hunters and need to venture out.

Ohh, on a serious note, is it healthy to keep a car indoors for the entirity of it's life? Reason I ask is I live in a flat and we want a cat but we don't want it jumping out of the 3rd floor balcony!

Lots of people do keep cats indoors for their whole life, if the cat has never been outside before the prospect of leaving the safety of the home is probably quite terrifying. I'm not sure I'd want to keep a cat indoors all the time but they are quite adaptable creatures and many seem perfectly happy with their lot as housecats.

Nice looking kitten there Dolph. :)

Maine coons are amazing, a nice stop gap between moggy and lynx. I'd love to own one but it would be a bit soon, my own cat passed away a few days ago :(
