The buttons might be a problem for people who still need colour-mapping, but at least Microsoft are finally tackling the D-pad problem. Although to be honest, I kind of get the feeling that it still won't be that great.
Yeah, what's the point in releasing a brand new version of the console, with a slightly changed pad (the guide button) then releasing a new controller which doesn't really have much difference aside from one improvement and a colour scheme which I personally don't like!
I assume that as it's part of the Play & Charge kit that they are hoping to sell them well because of the fact that people will need a second controller. Trouble is, I'd imagine a lot of people who want a 360 own one by now. Those possibly upgrading to the new machine may already have a spare controller lying around.
