New Official XBOX Controller from MS with Improved D-pad

I don't like the colour scheme, but I won't be buying one whilst its bundled with the P&C kit anyway.
 
The buttons might be a problem for people who still need colour-mapping, but at least Microsoft are finally tackling the D-pad problem. Although to be honest, I kind of get the feeling that it still won't be that great.

Yeah, what's the point in releasing a brand new version of the console, with a slightly changed pad (the guide button) then releasing a new controller which doesn't really have much difference aside from one improvement and a colour scheme which I personally don't like!

I assume that as it's part of the Play & Charge kit that they are hoping to sell them well because of the fact that people will need a second controller. Trouble is, I'd imagine a lot of people who want a 360 own one by now. Those possibly upgrading to the new machine may already have a spare controller lying around.
 
whens the next cash cow train rolling in MS? will it be tomorrow or will you give it another week before releasing the next pointless gimmick or raising prices?

I don't think I ever use the D-Pad other than FPS games where it's used for switching equipment etc.

Never really have a problem with it, but I can see it's not that accurate if you play fighting games.
