The leadex III 750w (£99) would allow the use of a 3080 or 6800xt as they are rated for needing 750 watt+ psu's

Thanks for that - I'm currently going to be using my old gfx card just so I can get it going but will definitely want the opportunity to use the new ones once you can actually get hold of them (and at a better price hopefully) - an ATI Radeon HD 5850 which is pretty ancient

You could always get a second hand r9 280x as a upgrade from the antique 5850. Should be under £50.

Edit - just checked I actually bought that card in 2011...
