New PC and Old PC OS questions

whats on the usb looks correct

also you can during windows 11 install
click i dont have a key
it will still install
just you wont be able to customise wallpaper etc
until you acquire a cheap key

I really appreciate the insanely quick responses and you checking yourself too.

I have one last question if I may.

When giving this PC to my Son, Am I able to entirely wipe the SSD the OS is on and still be able to install a new AND not have an issue with keys? I honestly can't remember how I got this W10H but I do know that I don't want to purchase another.
 
if its the one with windows 10 on it
best option if you want to totally wipe
and reinstall windows
sign in with a microsoft account first
then when you reinstall sign in with same microsoft account
the windows should then be linked to that pc hardware
other alternative is there are places on the net sell very cheap keys
but i have never tried that route

failing all that
do a reset rather than a full wipe
that will remove your stuff
and just leave windows on there
personally i prefer full wipe and reinstalll windows
though not always possible

Would a 'reset' wipe the drive?
