M.2 are blistering fast for OS , but intend to use 128GB for OS and apps only for larger 500GB for few main games. Actually have 500gb version just for steam games and 1TB SSD , hard pushed to notice the difference sometimes . Personally would say get the most for your money ah 500GB SSD. Can always populate the m.2 later. NVMe has come on quickly and more availability, so future looks good
