hehe, true. Im guessing this is the pci-e version of this: Creative Soundblaster X-Fi Platinum Fatal1ty Champion Series Retail

but £7 cheaper. Hopefully they will have addressed the issues with the older xfi's in this, as we can see there is shielding around the card from electrical interference i presume. Maybe this will finally be a good card. Obviously the drivers will still likely be awful but only time will tell.

I'm waiting for the Asus AV1 card which has HDMI in/out so we should be able to handle the new HD audio formats. Hopefully that will be under £120, still no news on that card though.

how utterly **** is that name? "Titanium Fatal1ty Professional" i means seriously... do they have 12 year olds naming there cards these days?

lol some suckers will by it I guess, not me!!

I hope Creative go out of business, just like they made their rivals even though they lost a court case, then bought them out. Scumbags!

Rot in hell Creative!

Here's a surprise Alchemy suddenly becomes free and supports cards Creative previously said were not possible then hey presto few days later a new product comes along.

Thanks but no thanks. Xonar is not perfect by any means but I will persevere with it than ever buy another Creative product.

I recently bought a Asus Xonar DX, the best sound card I have ever owned, replaced an Audigy 2 ZS. Looks like the Xonar has got creative running scared.

If only Creative could release new drivers as often as they release sound card variants. It's pretty disgusting that they still haven't provided drivers with full support for their existing cards in Vista, yet are quite happy to release new products for people to be suckered into buying.

TRANSLATION: Crappy old hardware as before, but we've sticky taped a bridge chip into it and made it look like the Xonar.
