New Pitch Installation

Not sure if anyone will like this but at Bramall Lane, we're currently having a new 3G pitch installed and this is a time lapse of the work last week. Kind of interesting as you never usually get to see anything like this:

It's interesting to watch, I wish I knew exactly what they're doing at each stage though. It just looks like they're mucking about with their diggers to me

As an Aberdeen fan, this is the first season in almost as long as I can remember where a season ticket makes sense!

The near left corner there is a tunnel in and out of the pitch that is used for ambulances usually. No idea for other grounds though

Nope, teams often go a few seasons without laying a completely new pitch. This is one we've had to wait a couple of years for, from Desso? It's the people that did Old Traffords pitch AFAIK.

I've never had one as I just pick and choose my games but I don't envy the season ticket holders one bit. You a South Stand man ?

I don't think so, the cost would be too much, we're getting a 3G pitch as we've now got a Saudi owner who really needs to splash the cash and buy some quality players

I am. I'd rather be on The Kop tbh, but I go with my dad and little sister, so I lost the vote.

I prefer the South Stand although the atmosphere is poor, I'll take the legroom in the SS than the atmosphere and broken legs in the Kop.

Did you want Clough to go after the semi-final loss ?

I did. Though I will support him if he stays (like it appears), though things have got to improve. How about you?

Same, following the second leg I was livid but thinking about it (as he's not going anywhere), I'm happy to back him on the basis he brings in the right players who can play a more attacking game. I don't think it's too much to ask for automatic too and if we're not on course come Nov/Dec, reconsider his position.

I want a striker or 2 (Davies and O'Grady) and 2 centre halves, since our only one is Kennedy and he has glass knees.
