New project

Need to drop the ride height :)

Looking good tho, you must have started this build around the same time as mine :)

Looks ace, what are those 5 silver circles and larger circle on the dash mate?

Switches mate, brake test, fog, sidelights, headlights, hazards, and start button.

Ride height is ramped up at the mo prior to iva, plus my house is right in the middle of a load of nasty speed bumps :(

That exhaust looks just right to stick some leg flesh to. :p

Looks good, I bet you're well pleased.

Fair do's.

When you do set it up finally, ensure you have some front toe in, otherwise they are well squirelly under braking and ride height lower at front or they understeer like nothing on earth :)

BEC's are a lot of fun, but I would only go car engined next time, probably MX5 based, for road use.

Aye I had a crossflow engined westy before I decided to build this one, so thought I would go down the BEC route this time:)
It's getting toed out for the IVA to help self centering, then will be toed in post IVA, currently 20mm rake rear to front.

Looks (tu)

You know it tedlet :) Ted you on FB? if so look me up under pezza or [email protected], getting married in september and you're welcome to come along if you're over :)

Vosa rang thursday to take payment for my IVA test, they'll send file over to Mitcham test center, so hopefuly get a date soon :)

Took her down Lydden Hill today for a quick shake down and to calibrate speedo etc.
The owner let me have a hoon during the lunch break gratis :D

Goes like stink! can't wait till it's road legal :)

ffs just read your previous reply, clearly I'm a bit late on the wedding :(

I dropped off FB ages ago, too difficult when dating excessively as I was at the time. I'll shoot you an email though.

Congrats though! On the wife and car :D

Not to bad a fail today
Emissions slightly off passed CO with 0.0, HC was 189, but lambda was a bit high at 1.666.
Think it needs leaning off slightly ?

Rear brakes locked up before the fronts, need a couple of compensator valves for the rear lines.

Speedo was all good till it crapped out over 50mph and wouldn't read anything sensible (was fine below)

Side repeaters on the cage failed as he could see them from the front of the vehicle.

Other than that just a few bits of trim under the dash!

Day in the garage tomorrow me thinks and get the retest booked :)

Cool. Seems like it's not uncommon to fail IVA first time round, so good luck with the re-test :)
