Bought one of the energy meters yesterday

Plugged it in... nothing

Nothing shows on display, buttons do nothing

Faulty?

Ok its been plugged in for 10 minutes now, the stuff that I plug into it worked, just the screen on the plug doesn't show, buttons dont do anything etc

very odd. It certainly shouldn't be doing that. in fairness. we have sold loads of these and this is the first one with a problem reported.
post up in the customer support section and the guys will get it swapped out for you.

Just recieved my Energenie PC Automatic Standby Shutdown Extention Lead this morning. Plugged it in then the whole of the upstairs electric goes down... Not impressed.

This has put me off one cause we have one of them old ones where you have to replace the fuse.

Same here, wanted to buy one,..as I use cheap old one with only 4 sockets... so 5 will help.

Can somebody else confirm that they work fine and will be upgrade from my old one, also looked at donuts...

i am using one at the moment, it has been fine. just sounds like a faulty item which can happen with anything
