New ROBOCOP

A cross between Batman and Dredd. I know they want to be different, but the chrome look of the 80's Robocop was so iconic. Looks like another pointless remake, but we'll see.
 
Can't see that being the final suit, the ungloved hand sort of leads me to think there will be an overlay of so e sort, looks so plain and bland at the moment. The new ED209 has the same color scheme so I'm not expecting a dramatic shift in style though. I'll keep an open mind as it might be decent, remakes are a good thing to some extent as younger generations get to enjoy movies they may otherwise disregard if they havnt aged well, needs to be handled correctly though and the original story done justice.

If that's the final suit then jesus did indeed weep that's hilariously bad its like batman and dredd had a dressing up party
 
Surely that's going to have some CGI applied to it, in post? The original is one of my favourite movies of all time, the political aspect of it was just brilliant, and so convincing. I really hope that they bother with that aspect in the remake... But a half decent looking suit wouldn't go a miss. :o
 
The original was a classic. But there are more important issues than the suit.. I'd be more concerned about wether this was going to be as bad as the 3rd movie, or TV series, which seems likely thus far...
 
I've heard that the black colour is "SWAT Mode" when not in this mode it's back to the old silver colour.

However it looks like something from the GI Joe film.
