autoconfiguration enabled
autoconfiguration 169... preferred

default gateway: (blank) why??

NetBIOS over tcpip: enabled

tunnel adapter isatap all "media disconnected"

Your NIC still isn't registering a static IP. Check the NIC config and make sure the 192.168.1.2 address has stuck. And maybe reboot.

default gateway should be your router IP address typically 192.168.0.0

Your PC still appears to be configured to use DHCP.

It isn't finding a DHCP server so you end up with a 169. self assigned IP, and there's no gateway address for it to assign.

If the NIC is set to pick up an IP via DHCP and can't find a DHCP server, it will assign a Windows automatic address (169.), and there won't be a default gateway.

I'd work on the assumption that you've bricked it. Asus provide recovery tools, so I'd start there. A quick Google finds a few guides on the process.

I held the wps (reset button) for just over 30 seconds unplugged power and held for another 30seconds then reconnected it and held for yet another 30seconds.Nothing.
