US: New Series: Colony

Without spoilers , the latest episode suggest a huge shift from its very low key family focused drama ( which I've really enjoyed ). Hope they can pull it off and we get a fourth series ( theres still another episode to go in this season ). Unfortunately the viewing fugues in the USA haven't been great, so who knows. Anyways I really like its grim tone and Handmaids Tale like ability to make any uplifting moments seem like very small victories.
 
The last episode of the series should be immense.

I think the firefight in the second series on the red hand compound out did the last episode. I swear though, somebody should have been rocking that body armour, and with the time shift flashbacks it's clear Kynes is holding some battle tech.

If they reach the holdout, expect fireworks.

Just seen the news that this has been cancelled. To say I'm really disappointed is an understatement. I suppose not surprising though given the low viewing figures.

I hope this gets picked by one of the streaming services; if it doesn't it will be a real shame.

I'm getting sick of investing in network TV shows that get cancelled.
 
Still waiting for S3 to get an air date over here. Can imagine people started giving up watching after S2 wasn't great.

What’s even more annoying is the **** poor shows that run for 6-7 seasons and the good shows that are really worth watching, get dropped after 2-3. :(
 
Well thats annoying news, I just rewatched the first season and caught up and it gets canned :(

Has there been any talk of one of the streaming services picking it up?
 
I avoided this thread as I wanted to watch the last two episodes back to back. Really enjoyed it. Season 4 would have been great, but I get the feeling the budget to shoot it would have been more due to the need for a lot more CGI which may have played a part in it getting canceled.

I did vote on the petition to try and save it. It worked last time with The Expanse, but I am not holding my breath for this one :(
 
I started watching out of boredom and now I'm hooked. Can't believe it's been cancelled though. That's a massive shame!
 
I saw on some site that people are rallying to try and get the show saved. Would be a real shame to let it end as it has and no one to at least try to save it.

Netflix should really pick this up rather than buying all those crap sci-fi films that they been recently.
 
Finished seasons 1 and 2 on Netflix within a week, show got me hooked and I love it. Looks like season 3 won't be on Netflix until next year and now you guys it's been cancelled after that? If so that is a real shame.
 
I'm halfway through S2 after reading here that it was decent. Which it certainly is. S3 isn't on netflix and now its cancelled? Sad times :(
