New SSD

OK I got myself a new SSD today ...and im gonna be using for my Origin and Steam games , Is there anything I should do before I actually use the drive itself once I've placed in within my case ??

just connect it up and type disk management into windows search,right click it and then initialise the drive,it will show up in windows then and you can access it
