NEW STEAM DEALS!!!!

Hopefully the publishers might notice how much money they have made from steam sales this past few weeks and do something with pricing of new games.

Obviously they can't sell brand new games for £2 odd but £30+ is just silly. Finger crossed.

They obviously look at total revenues, not number of individual sales. Many people can afford and are perfectly willing to pay full price for new games. Even if every new game was £17.99 or £14.99, many other people would still wait until it was £9.99 or even less, before buying.

I quite fancy the Batman game but not so much that I'd be happy paying over £10. Whereas GTA IV I bought for $46 (gulp) because I wanted it straight away so swallowed the high price.

ill never pay full price for a game.

i want mw2 but will not pay a stupid price of £39.99.

when it goes to half price ill buy it but until then ill wait.

if it dosent go half price then i will not buy it full stop.

Argh Ive spent £90 on the latest sale and still have Shadowgrounds, GTA Classic pack and Jedi Knight Collection in my basket and still considering Torchlight...

Bought so far:

Indigo Prophecy
Eidos Collector Pack
Defense Grid: The Awakening
Grand Theft Auto IV (UK)
Mass Effect
Sam and Max Season One + Two Pack
Crysis Complete (UK)
Street Fighter IV
Shattered Horizon
Max Payne Bundle (EU)
Left 4 Dead
Jade Empire (ROW)
Killing Floor
Audiosurf

Just been trying killing floor as a guest pass and I get explorer crashes each time I exit the game on windows 7, I couldn't get on an online game either, I'll try and get a proper go in before the sale runs out.

I don't believe I have to resort to gifting myself games . Oh well, at least paypal can keep track of the purchases :). Steam should sort my account out soon.

So do I need to contact Steam so I can buy games from Steam again? Everything worked perfectly until yesterday (13 games bought during the Christmas sale) when I tried buying GTA4 and now I keep getting different errors for different purchase methods. For Paypal, I can't even get to review order before getting an unexpected error, with Visa it says payment couldn't be made etc. I've been trying for pretty much 23 hours now apart from sleeping a bit.

Just gifted myself a GTA4 but I guess I need to contact Steam to fix my account before I'm able to buy by myself again?
