I must say I would love to see a deal on Borderlands
Can be picked up for £12.73 from some places! Free postage too. Not sure if steam will be able to beat that!
As posted just a few posts up, the same thing is available for £4.99 from Play, so keep resisting that urge and buy it elsewhere
Please don't spend £16.74 when it's only £4.99 at play.com !

I decided to buy bf2 even though i have it retail, just saves me having to reinstall it all the time whenever i format my pc.

Yeh, good luck finding it as digital format for cheaper atm.,
Surely your just going to have to download it again, unless you have more than one hdd?
Most people do, just copy the folder across. How long can you download steam games for? is there a time limit?
Even if he only has one physical disk, he probably has more than one partition. It makes sense to put Steam on a different disk or partition to the OS, so that it isn't affected by reinstalling the OS.
Don't even need more than one HDD just copy the game to a different partition.

Been buying for a while and just entered my mind.. Thought they might of had like a few year limit, but no limit is most excellent.

Bought it for a present last week and didn't even take long to arrive. Much better price than on Steam!Good point, cheapest I can find that is £9.99, so £14.98 all in, which means the Steam deal isn't actually all that bad if you really want all of them.
Personally I think i'd prefer to just have the original Civ IV, the Colonization game (which is standalone incidentally) doesn't appeal to me as much.

except it isn't the complete pack. It's missing colonisation by the looks of it.
So it's £17.47 on play new, compared to £16.74 on steam.
But it's £4.99 for all but Colonization...is Colonization really worth an extra £11?
Edit: Ahh just realised there's a Civ 4 Colonization. I thought it was the old original one and thought wtf
So it makes slightly more sense. I'd stick with the £5 though personally, plenty of Civ action anyhow

Depends if you want to play it. £11 for a full game is not bad. Just wishing Topico 3 would download faster. That way it would be easy to resist.
