This is exactly why people should not be buying any games from their "until 3rd Jan" sale because there is always is chance it will get thrown into these daily sales. If people hold off until the 2nd and find that a game they want has not appeared in the daily sale then simply snap it up from the "until 3rd Jan" one the day before it expires. Simples :)

How is Prototype on the PC? On the consoles it was a ghastly affair - poor textures, washed-out graphics, humungous pop-iin.

err yeah but then if they put the price back up before the final day you would miss out.
take GTA IV for example.
 
Prototype looks like a pretty good deal wanted to pick it up at some point.

Steam really are showing why digital dist is the way forward the number of impulse purchases made thus far from these sales is huge. I spent at least £60 which I wouldn't have normally have spent money on.

Wish steam had a daily sales tracker for the store overall would be interested in the volume of sales at the moment.

GTA IV was not one of the 'until 3rd Jan' deals :)

So far I have bought three games from the 'until 3rd Jan' deals but I don't think they will be getting discounted any further.

Those being Outrun 2006, Driver Parallel Lines and Riddick Dark Athena.
 
hmm does DA:O have DLCs? are these included in the current steam deal or bought separately?

May seems strange but i though steam had been selling DA:O at the price they are now advertising previously?

On the DA:O store page, you will see a link to the Deluxe Edition, which contains extra DLC. (In effect with today's offer, you get the DLC for free as the deluxe edition is at the price of the standard edition.)
