Torchlight is no more an RPG than Diablo was. I'm not sure what you'd call this genre of games.

Dirt2 is well worth it - having played it now, I'd be tempted to get it for the full price, and I don't play driving games!

Loads of companies have sales all the time.

if you aren't happy with the price don't buy it. If you are happy with the price buy it and forget about it. Prices nearly always go down.
 
Empire:Total War can be had for £14.99 now, can anyone recomend it with a 3.2gz duo,4850 and 6gig of ram. Heard some really anoying issuses can be had with the game.

And allso any of the DLCs worth it ? Thanks :D

Yep bit annoyed about this. Although anyone considering Torchlight, don't hesitate buying it! Really good game.

... Wtf? Acid what in the hell are you on about, i merely said its stupid that its been on offer so many times this last month and suddenly at 75% for christmas. I'm not unhappy with it at all.

Why is that stupid. Pries go down.. That is % of from RRP, games hardly ever sale at RRP and always go down over time. You actually said it was taking the **** which made it sound like you were unhappy about it.
 
Think I'm annoyed at Torchlight being half the price I paid for it a week or so ago, not because of the money I could have saved but more because I don't have it on Steam. Shame, really.
 
Only Lumines for me today. I already have it on the PSP and my 360, but it is the type of game I will just play when I feel like it for 30mins or whatever. I hardly ever use my 360 any more and my PSP screen is too small for home use, so the PC version would be more convienient to play. Keyboard should be much better to play it with as well as apposed to the attrocious 360 dpad. :)

Oh yeah and I caved and bought King's Bounty: Armored Princess earlier too. Not sure why really, but was mostly due to the recommendations in this thread. I'll put it on the pile!

My theory is that at some point in the future I will already have most of the games offered in Steam deals, so I will actually have time to play these games instead of spend time buying them as I will already have it all! Oh well, I could think of worse and more expensive ways to spend my money. So if it were always one or the other, I could think of it like I'm saving more money the more I spend on Steam games as I would spend more money on other things otherwise. Or something. Yeah that's a good enough excuse I think. lol :p

But then steam go and put the whole Publisher list of games in a pack for mega cheap like they have done with Eidos...

I Though i had a bargain buying batman and tombraider:underworld for half-price a few weeks ago...
Then steam go and sell just about every Eidos game in a super pack for only £35 :(

The same thing happened to me also with the THQ pack a few weeks ago
