Tales of Valor at 2.49? Id be rude not too.... my first purchase of this sale and its something ive wanted, as it gives me those extra units in MP too.

You can use the mklink command to create a symbolic link between folders meaning you could still store some of your steam games on your SSD and the others in an entirely different location altogether.

Once the game is installed simply cut and paste it onto a different drive then recreate the folder using the mklink command in the steam directory.

For example:

mklink /D G:\Steam\steamapps\bolaeisk\half-life C:\half-life

Make sure you move the file first before creating the link and also make sure you run the command prompt as an administrator

Basically I keep games on my external but some games on my internal for loading purposes using symbolic links. It's very handy.

So I could do it the other way round now and just copy MW2 on to my SSD and mklink to load it there! Wooo I get host again

Definitely, it's works like this:

mklink /d [original file location within steam] [new file location ie different drive/partition]

I enjoyed the demo after reading a recommendation on here for it, but not really keen on paying a high price for it. Seems like the sort of title which might appear in the sale for 6.74 or something....so you never know ! I can dream !!

(not that I dream of men wearing uniforms and striding manfully around...no....no I dream of destruction and explosions, limbs rendered and round penetration values and turret rotation speeds ! Huh-huh ! Rawr ! etc...

Just bought Rogue Trooper (had retail on release, fantastic very unappreciated game) and Jade Empire (own every other Bioware title - would've been rude not to at £2!!)

Also reinstalling Beyond Good & Evil - sequel planned for next year IIRC, well worth a second play through.

Is Silent Hill worth buying? I've always been a fan of the Silent Hill games and have been meaning to play the latest one for a while now, I've just never got round to it due to it always being pretty expensive so £7.50 seems about right. It's just that I have heard mixed opinions about it, people saying that it's not really like the other games and opts for a more action-oriented play style whereas the old games were more puzzle based and actually pretty damn scary in my opinion (well, up until about the third game).
