New stuff got here...

Hm going to have to turn off Turbo etc.. I don't like CPU ID telling me Im on 1.6Ghz >.<

That is because you have speedstep enabled and your are running in an idle state. Its normal. Run ITB and stress test, it will soon be at stock settings, unless you have OCed.

I turned Speedstep off in BIOS wanted to turn Turbo off as well. Ill put speedstep back on once I have a stable enough clock. My temps were all over the place a moment ago thankfully RealTemp has settled down. I say that my lowest core temp is 20-25~ highest is 35-40~ theres no way that's correct is there?

Also having my fans up at full on makes no real difference to my temps. Running prime at 3.7Ghz getting about 60C (still on stock Voltage however)

I used about a small pea of paste and seated the cooler so it was spread that way. Had to use the paste that came with the K2 since my AS5 went dodgy. If I want to reseat my cooler though Ill have to get something to remove the paste. As well as having to remove my entire Mobo since the K2 is hellish to install in the case.

Ok cool. Here's the temps at what is meant to be stock volts (but my voltage seems to be changing even though speedstep is off..) whilst idle and one whilst running prime (yeah they aren't clocked the same I forgot to take one at 4Ghz before I tweaked the multiplier again)

Idle:

Prime (4Ghz):

The idle temps make me think that your right Idleman. And the under load temps as well due to how high they are at such low volts.

Though running prime at 4.2Ghz the temps have only went up 3 degs in max.. where as from 3.7-4.0Ghz they went up 10degs... which is sooo wrong.. going to have to get some TIM soon as I can and something to remove the old paste and do it again but this time Ill use the two thin lines of TIM instead of a dot.
