New summer transfer thread

Allardyce really has completely rebuilt Newcastle in terms of quality players. Now we just have to hope he has the skills as a manager to get the best out of them.

I'm so pleased he has got a new Back 4, espcially in the shape of the hard, physical players he has signed.

I can't think of anything bad to say about the following:
Joey Barton (£5.8million)
Habib Beye (undisc.)
Claudio Cacapa (free)
Jose Enrique (£6.3million)
Abdoulaye Faye(undisc.)
Geremi (free)
David Rozehnal (£2.9million)
Alan Smith (undisc.)
Mark Viduka (free)

to replace these (and a lot of clowns)
Olivier Bernard (released)
Titus Bramble (free)
Kieron Dyer (undisc.)
Albert Luque (undisc.)
Craig Moore (released)
Alan O'Brien (undisc.)
Oguchi Onyewu (released)
Scott Parker (£7million)
Antoine Sibierski (free)
Nolberto Solano (free)
Pavel Srnicek (released)

Surprised we let Diarra go, I always thought he had potential and was very versatile, I think it's a good move for him & Arsenal.
The only reason I can see is that JM thinks Hutchinson will make the grade:)

Paul Huntington brought in from Newcastle (centre half)
Filipe da Costa brought in from Ionikos (winger)
Alan Martin brought in from Motherwell (keeper)

Not bad, but I'd have preferred a couple more bodies in

Pato has to be in there imo.
Most of Europe wanted him, and openly admitted it.

I'd personally say:
Henry.
Torres.
Ribery.
Klose/Toni.
Pato.

You only say that 'cause he went to Milan. You're probably so over-excited about someone because you bought them under-30. :).

Thought you'd say that, or someone else.
Everyone in Europe did want him.
I could put the same claim at Tevez on your list though. ;).
