So the other day I posted about buying a new video card.

I got an r9 380 4gb

Now I regret this because I want a full system that isn't old and rubbish to go with it. My case is too small and my psu is awful.

So I have a 1tb HDD and a 380 and 8gb of ram, but I need everything else. Cheap as possible but want to make the most of the new video card really. 1080p gaming and decent framers for fps.

Maybe up to 300 squid?

Cheers

So could I go for the case and psu from the second build and the bundle from the first?

You can. If you don't need the CPU/mobo/RAM assembled for you then save £30 and also get an i5-4590 and the PLUS model of the motherboard instead of the K so you can use the case's USB 3.0 port/s.

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £229.97

Looking at this now.

Along with my HDD and the R9 380, monitor, optical drive and peripherals, anything else I need?

(includes shipping: £11.70)

unless you wanted modular or more than 8gb then it doesnt look like you need anything else.

Hmm, I think I'm looking at quite a lot more for 16GB. Not too worried about modular - I assume this psu will be fine for powering a 6+2 port on the card?

Do you have a DVD drive (with SATA) for that OS? Otherwise get the Windows 10 USB version.

PSU has 2 x PCI 6+2 connectors.
