New system in a few weeks!

Temps @ idle look ok :)

Another option is did you setup the memory timings and voltage in the BIOS.

I haven't set them manually no, shouldn't they be at their correct speeds anyway?

Unless you setup the XMP profile in the BIOS they might not be at the correct speed and voltage - CPU-Z will show these details.

Here's what CPU-Z is saying..

and this is the memory.

Your only running at 1600mhz, pop into the BIOS and load the XMP file - this should load the correct settings for the memory. Then, you can continue with Prime & Furmark.

Yes, check for temps and stability issues :)

Its a case of going through and checking the system.

Ran prime and no errors, temps went as high at 84 under stress test.

Furmark ran fine too, temps were 81 after 15 minutes.

What can i try next?

Thanks for your help so far :)

Hot for a cpu which is at stock and using a dual rad water cooler.

I get that with a normal run of a mill cooler with mine overclocked to 4.2ghz.

Check the fan & pump speeds, you might also need to recheck the cpu mount.

:)

One other thing to note, when i load up COD4 or any game, in the settings, when maxing out every option that's when i get a BSOD.

Now i know COD4 isn't a demanding game at all, so i'm confused as to what the issue could be. :/
