I think you have the two mixed up. The one with more enabled cores is officially called "Xp", and the second Titan X is unofficially called "XP".

Might end up with one of these soon as per my other thread, will the EVGA 1080ti Hybrid cooler fit this? I purchased one for my TX Pascal and used it to break the card somehow and would like to use it on the TXp.
I work in a factory as well but I live by myself and have no family, could afford a 1080ti no problem. Guess it helps that the job has a lot of benefits, tons of holidays, bonus pay, generous sick package, etc.
I guess it depends on your personal circumstances, a married person with children obviously won't have anywhere near as much disposable income - a family has enormous expenses. Bigger house to pay for, more food, bigger vehicle, kids' expenses, it all adds up.

So for gaming, how much better would the xp be than say https://www.overclockers.co.uk/asus...dr5x-pci-express-graphics-card-gx-410-as.html. In the market for a new machine and a new monitor and don't have the disposable income like I once did so it's going to have to last a while.

The Titan Xp is about 5% to 10% faster depending what you are using it for.
Or in other words the 1080 Ti is far better value for money.
