and in 32-bit, any one .exe can only address a maximum of 2GiB of ram, not 3.2GiB.
on 64-bit this limit is much higher![]()
Doubtful, look at the camera position co-ords on the screen, he's only very very minutely differently placed, i'm not sure how your screen is set up but it's clear as day here, the 64 bit picture is using much higher resolution textures.

I'd be very surprised if the very slight difference in position caused such a huge disparity in the displayed texture.
there is the very high tweak for xp, but i think the detail is because of DX10 not the os architecture, xp using only dx9
Both screens are DX10 and running on a 64bit OS, but as he said in his first post, for some reason it wasn't automatically running the 64bit game exe and he noticed that difference when he did.
You can see that 32 vs 64 is the only difference from the information written on the screenshots.
Not really 64bit then if its using less than 2gb?
