new to overclocking

blend is likely RAM issue.. is the RAM at the correct voltage?

put ram to 800 mhz which some one told me too ,its ballistix tracer 8500 1066
so it could be that ,managed to get 3dmark vantage result which was 12677

k just checked an ram freq is now 855 thats cause i upted the fsb frequancy so do i make it lower than 855 or should it be ok at 855 ,also nb voltage is @1.360v so changed to 1.4v going to run the blend test again

It will be fine.. you have PC2-8500 so you would have a lot to play with. You would need to be running your FSB > 533MHz before it's overclocked.

Because you have PC2-8500, I would select a memory ratio that it's nearer to 1066MHz so you utilise the full memory bandwidth.

I would agree once his finished getting a CPU clock.. no point adding extra variables that need to be checked when an overclock fails.. best to keep the RAM slow and out of the picture
