New to PC gaming, Self-build 1100£ budget

ust one question, why is the 16GB RAM so expensive ? isn't it much cheaper normally ?
8 months ago, yes, but not right now lol. ram prices rocketed because manufacturers are basically forming a cartel and restricting ram supply #tinfoilhat

Also could you recommend me a gaming keyboard.
budget?

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £308.91 (includes shipping: £11.10)

specifically for the Corsair K40 keyboard
ENTER VOUCHER CODE "OCUKK40" AT THE BASKET FOR A £20 DISCOUNT!!!
and you get a free t-shirt, for what it's worth lol :D

Hey tamzzy can i use a cheaper RAM ? is it really worth getting 3200 Mhz ? Like there are a few cheaper ones of amazon for around the same price or cheaper if we reduce the Mhz.

  • Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3000C15R Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2x8 GB) DDR4 3000 MHz C15 XMP 2.0 High Performance Desktop Memory Kit - Red
  • Corsair CMK16GX4M2D3200C16 Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2x8 GB) DDR4 3200 MHz C16 XMP 2.0 High Performance Desktop Memory Kit - Black

Regards, mate

much better warranty , gigabyte reps on here to which helps. going OCUK ou get solid RMA support anyways but having 3 year warranty is nice for the same price
i dunno. kfa2 have uk rma support too. granted its only 2 year warranty vs 3. but the cooler itself is better than the itx single fan coolers from evga or giga.
i guess could be argued either way.
i personally would get the kfa2 for better cooling perf.

havent used the evga or giga to be honest, i know theirs two versions of the evga , the cheaper version being like Zotacs which was just a alumin heatsink and got hot :(
sweet, if UK RMA even better :) know a few now have Card RMA which is good

@mrh414 up to you, the asus probably has a better cooler, and stock clocks out of the box. although if you do buy an asus card, please ONLY buy from ocuk. asus warranty really isn't worth the paper it's written on.
ocuk has an individual deal with asus where ocuk will deal with any warranty issues, and does not apply to any other retailer.

Hey guys just finished building my pc. Seems to run fine now just waiting to install the OS. however I think we forgot Bluetooth and Wifi connection ? I don't think it's included in the motherbord.

Can you advise me plz?

It isn't included, you'll need to get a separate dongle for either of those.

Consider bringing your router next to your computer and use the ethernet connection for better latency?
