New Toy

Could we have some more pics, also a nice long review would be really cool. CSL or BBS alloys would look really really nice on it. I hope you did not buy it new?

Can't give a proper review until I've spent some more time behind the wheel, however first impressions are superb. Initially I was torn between the Cayman S and the Z4MC, but was put off getting another Z4 as I thought I would get bored very quickly, so the Cayman was the front runner. However I preferred the looks of the Coupe and thought the interior of the Cayman let it down. Both are excellent to drive, though the extra power in the Z4 is noticeable, it certainly feels quick, just as quick as some of the higher powered cars I've driven (although I know it’s more the sense of speed).

If you're interested in buying one, now is an excellent time to do so. Mine is four months old, done 5K miles and has lost 14K! Will take some more pics tomorrow.

If that's a toy, what's your 'real' one like? :D

Very nice. The M Coupe looks much better than the convertible IMO. :)

I say toy, it's my daily driver until I get something a bit more sensible to commute in.

Yes Nick, the paint has a slight red fleck in it, not noticeable really until the sun hits it. You can't see in those photos but when it's sat next to my roadster (black sapphire) there's a subtle difference.

Cool - I always wondered if it was the Sapphire black replacement (in the same way Sapphire replaced Cosmos). A red tint sounds nice :)

i found the cayman s to be a fantastic machine, how do the 2 compare in terms of handling and overall drive?

Not too keen on the looks myself but that is a personal thing.

Other than that its very nice indeed.

I bet it goes some as well!

Does the M coupe have the same engine as the E46 M3?
