New Trainers

The dean = Epic fail, haha those skeets are dire indeed

I Currently have these

I know they are the staple diet of the "chav" but i think they are comfortable and like to believe that my personality has enough depth that my trainers dont dictate the sort of person i am lol otherwise the dean is in serious doodoo!
 
Has anyone bought from pickyourshoes.com? Even with the international shipping charges, it could work out considerably cheaper if you buy more than one pair.

Unless you get stung by customs :(

If it is the only way of getting a certain colourway or size of a shoe, then you might as well as it's not like you could have got it cheaper here if you looked, if it is available over here it will probably be cheaper/the same sort of price range unless they are 10 a penny in the US and they are not very available here. I got some basketball pumps from Footlocker US a while ago as they had litle stock over here and I needed 12s, I think it worked out a bit more expensive than over here but I got the size and colour I wanted so it was worth it, although shipping and customs took nearly a month with them.

Thanks very much for the info :) Unless you're actually visiting a different country, I guess it's just easier to buy them locally.

Yeah my mate in Newcastle said that they had a chavvy element to them. I personally don't see it, but maybe I haven't been in the UK long enough to fully understand chav culture.

He broke it down to the 3 Bs:

a) Benefits
b) Babies
c) Brand names

That made me lol.

I would never consider a pair of red trains but each to their own. I personally think converse are great and affordable also available in plenty of colours and designs

I don't really collect ... I just like buying trainers and do so a bit too often :p

I have mainly Air 90s, Air 87s and some SBs - I think around 35-40 pairs in total now.
