OMFG, all these pumps look like what we used to wear when I was a kid.
Green Flash was the biggie when I was younger, but my parents were cheapos and got me Blue Flash instead which was in no way cool whatsoever.
Then we moved on to baseball boots, trainers and now we've gone back to pumps again.
Wow! I think this means you are officially old if you remember the fashion the first time round.

how come so much adidas

Because adidas make good shoes, and lots of them, and cool variation on them too. Nike only make one style pretty much, and that's the dunk\af1\terminator\court-esque look the actual style behind them is very small in changing from shoe to shoe. They do some runners too, but they both look the same, and kinda dull to boot.

Adidas have 7+ styles of runners alone all with their own slightly different look to each pair. I personally am looking to buy some reeboks next, had my eye on making a few pairs of Ventilators, but I want to try the shoe on first - I think I'll have to head up to Covent Garden soon and see if the 'bok store has any Vents in there that I can see if I like the feel, as I don't fancy spending £230 on replacing my worn out ZX500 collection with a shoe which I don't like. :)

There's so many more brands though, actually different styles; canvas, skate shoes, boots etc... just thought there would be a greater variation

Canvas shoes generally all look the same, if you look at any brand thats doing canvas shoes, they all either look like plimpsoles you used to wear in school, or con all stars. Skate shoes are a tad boring, I used to wear nothing but... They looked good when I was younger, and only wore baggy jeans with a big pair of wide skate shoes at the bottom, but now I'm more grown up - I prefer something a little bit slimmer fitting, stylish, and colourful. As for boots, this is a trainer thread, not a DM's thread ;)

patta-air-max-1-maroon-preview-1.jpg

Now these are what i'm waiting for. No idea on release information or anything. Probably only Patta or Tier Zero accounts, but hopefully Hanon's might get them in. Fingers crossed. aint seen anything like this in a while.

These are sick, but I don't fancy paying the £500+ price tag lol, only 248 made worldwide iirc.
