New Trainers

It took some doing but I finally managed to get a pair of Flyknit Oreo 2, the lightest and most comfortable trainers ever.

Think they are already sold out, heard there was a massive queue outside Nike Town London, they had 200 pairs. Not that I wanted another pair, one is enough I already own too many trainers.

To be honest don't know why there is so much hype. Nike is playing everyone for suckers. They released 1100 worldwide, just to hype them up. No doubt there will be a restock but they could easily keep producing them.

you could walk into nike town at around lunch time and eaisly grabbed a pair but you are correct. so much hype.

Did you also see the hype around teh jordan bacbbones and the new yeezy 350 sneakers?

It was madness and the sad thing is that most who copped em only did so to resell for 10x the retail price.

Another crap thing about the sneaker game is bots.

Bost ruin it by making it impossible for the average joe such as me and yourseld to get on on the stroke of midnight(or whenver the time is for release)

Tried on another pair of Huaraches and reminded myself that I look as ridiculous in them now as I did a year or two ago.

Considered picking up the new reissue infrared AM90s but the liner is different to the older ones and they just dont look as appealing. Might hold off and see if they do another hyperfuse am90 version of that colourway.

Looked at some flyknit roshe runs(these ones) but decided that they don't look right.

So have gone for the triple black version instead, which are £20 cheaper for some odd reason. really impressed with how light and comfortable they are. May have to grab some more.

another pickup from earlier this week were my new Tiempo 94s in red. Been looking for some of these for a while now and the red colourway is perfect.

Also picked up some Ropes laces for some of my favourite AM90s. Got a teal and black pair for my Kabutomushi which have made my favourite pair even better

and some 3M reflective and black for my black suede LTR premiums which look incredible when they are shining.

Looking for some trainer advice from what appears to be some seasoned veterans :D

I'm badly in need of new shoes and I measure up as 12 4E but very few places in the UK seem to stock these which is kind of annoying.

Anyone aware of any other places I could look? All I can find is about 2 pairs of New Balance shoes and that's it!

Footlocker in the US has tons of shoes/trainers in my size but crazy shipping costs! The EU Footlocker site doesn't even admit to having a wide fitting available?! :(

Help a guy out? :)

JD probably is a decent place to look for most stuff really. Decent selection and most popular stuff up to a 13.

For most trainers and sportswear shoes anyway.

If you want skate shoes then somewhere like route one or even flatspot would have that sort of stuff in larger sizes.

One place I always see massive shoes is in the Nike clearance outlets. Generally can't ever find anything for me but the best shoes are in 12+

I just don't like the look of trainers anymore :( I don't know why. I go shopping and it doesn't matter how much I look, all the trainers just look distasteful to me.

So, my trainers (these are years old, before I didn't like them anymore) are on the way out and need something to replace them. Do people wear / or have any alternatives? I like to walk everywhere I go and I like the look of the smartness of shoes. But because I wear shoes for work, I don't want to wear them outside of work :p I want something that is comfy for the walking but not something that looks messy like trainers.

Depending on what else you're wearing then maybe loafers? Leather ones for a little more dressy look and suede ones for more casual.

I've just had a look at them and they don't really appeal to me. When I'm out, I'll normally wear jeans, but the type that, at the bottom, they will easily cover over the tounge of trainers. I don't do anything like skinny jeans. They also look a little like VANs? I've tried them but I don't like the feeling of my ankle being so out.

I guess trainers aren't out of the question, if only they stopped making them try stand out in a crowd.

Sadly nothing there that suits!

check out footpatrol if your based in london

Same here as well :(

Why not get something timeless like Adidas Sambas or Gazelles.

I think these have a nice / smart look to them. It would either be looking exactly this way, or with the colour being a little darker blue. Black outsoul in combination with either uniform blue or bluebird seems to look okay.

So long as the trainer doesn't look like it shouts out who it's made by (like the nike ticks!) I think it looks pretty nice.

Same for me - my current ones are http://www.merrell.com/UK/en_GB/spr...ar_16449M_color=J39149#q=sprint+blast&start=1 though tend to use the black laces.

Only downside the grip on the heel isn't great while at the front its perfect :S
