New UFO files released in UK

No they're not, we all signed treaties saying we wouldn't put weapons in space.
If we'd wanted to militarise space it would have been done by now.

Yes they are; China have always been against it, (The treaty.) also Russia, which is what actually lead to it. All the while, America has put buckets of cash into it. Along with statements, through recent times like this in 2005 from General Lance W. Lord, then commander of AFSPC, told an Air Force conference that "space superiority is not our birthright, but it is our destiny. ... Space superiority is our day-to-day mission. Space supremacy is our vision for the future."

What and they were impenetrable to wave after wave of anti-aircraft fire- Yes :p:confused: ;)

If that's the story you wish to believe.

BTW, they still celebrate this event every year by pointing lights up into the sky.
I watch more UFO/Alien documentaries than you do.

They can point as many lights up in to the sky as they like since whatever you suggested doesn't seem to have any relevance to the post in question: especially when you take into account many of the features that make up this case. There wasn't then and there isn't now any plane capable of taking as many direct hits of anti-aircraft fire as that "object" did and remain unscathed with that many witnesses, professional and otherwise. The army were exasperated at the failure of their attempt to shoot it down as well as the air force. Yes there were witnesses that the airforce had no effect either.Despite the fact that Secretary Knox intimated that reports of enemy air activity in the Pacific Coastal Region might be due largely to 'jittery nerves, the army went on record as saying that the object that they fired over 1430 12lb shells at for between the hours of 3:16 and 7:21was real-whatever it was? It is noteworthy that for thirty years until the release of the Marshall memorandum, the Department of Defense claimed to have no record of this event.

... I don't know why I should even bother to be drawn in to answering this and so I won't. You are also quite happy to go around disbelieving and believing whatever you like though.

I absolutely love how the great and the good of OcUK feel they are qualified to comment on matters such as FTL travel :D.

Let me point you to a documentary called Nazi UFO Conspiracies and it all begins to make sense.

Thanks for the advice-if that is what it is as I'll pass on this :) I only made the point about The battle of Los Angeles just to make people aware that there will be a Hollywood action movie loosely based on it for entertainment purposes: my views concerning the actual event are as follows: unidentified object can be shown clearly taking direct hits from American ant-aircraft fire over a prolonged period of time. Object was described as real by the army 37th battallion. Subsequent photographic analysis confirms the object to be real and anti-aircraft fire having had no effect. Some 2000 12lb shells were fired at the object not the 1340 I had previously mentioned. Nowhere in either my opinion or newspaper reports was it indicated that the object was extraterrestrial-simply that it was unidentified despite the attempt by the government to poo poo the episode off as a case of jittery nerves. To this day I am unaware of any flying solid object that could take the battering that this did and still remain intact and in the air.

Sauce?

Ahahaah people believe this?

****in wake up !

Estimated up to 2million people witnessed this event at the time and the event has been clearly documented but you surely didn't need me to tell you that did you?

You could actually listen to the original 1942 radio broadcast that depicted the event.

Pfffft. I thought everyone knew by now that all real UFO's come from Parallel Universes, they don't travel millions of Light Years they just manipulate dimensional planes. Not to mention the ones that come from the Hollow Earth or the Dark Side of the Moon in our own reality, but as the NWO...errr...World Govts. know all about those they are not really UFOs. It's amazing what you can find out on the Internets!! ;)

At least this explains why most people prefer to watch Eastenders along with Big Brother and those that don't would rather prefer to be in a paralell universe.

If you're into UFO/Alien stuff why the hell would you pass on that?
I've been reading up on this stuff for 40 years and that is one of the best and believable I've come across.
You need to open up your mind.

I've seen only one or two documentaries on the Nazi connection with flying saucers.

One mentioned that after WWII, due to Operation Paperclip, a lot of Nazi engineers and physicists were snapped up by the USA, but also Russia.

Russia were then the first to re-develop the flying saucer since I think they managed to acquire the chap who designed the first working prototype? Then it went along the lines of USA spotting these saucers near their territory and decided to create and spread the idea that these were of Extra-terrestrials origin, so as to not worry the public that Russia had such advanced technology.

Quite plausible really.

I think it was this one;

If this is the case, then I just don't understand why flying saucers haven't been made public. If this kind of technology has been developed for over 60 years now surely openly admitting they have such crafts wouldn't cause such a big deal.

The Nazi/Flying Saucer/Occult connections are pretty interesting!

I don't have time at the moment and I only have a passing interest in this stuff-perhaps mainly due to the 98% bull**** that comes with it. If it is worth reading then I'll greatfully take it under advisement with a view to getting to it later in the future. Much obliged.
