What was TAM? I never tried it, it like CMPA/UTComp stuff?

How did you know I work there!
Yea loads of companies in there, mostly Designers/fashion type stuff, I work for a marketing technology company in there.

Tam is a TDM based game, where all players start on 100 hp and 100 shield, with all weapons. If you get killed, your out, last man standing scores a opint for his team, first team to 10 wins.
Best gametype ever, and always really really good players on there.

I never atually DL'ed it myself tbh, dont even think you ne to, just connect to a sevrer that has it running, i.e: 217.163.10.30:7777

The OcUK clan we stqarted was not intended to be a DM clan, since everyone only played ONS. I started the thread asking for a OcUK clan, thinking it will only be ONS, since i never actually played any other gametype before that :eek:

UT04 was my first online game !!!
From there, some of us stayed with ONS, some went on to AS (me, and some others) and some went on to TAD DM (me and hnz/ojste is all i know of)

To be completely honest, that first DM game against... who was it...,. OLD or FAT or someone like that.... it's was very very very unfair to ythe OcUK clan, who hadn't even played DM before... EVER.

We did pretty well later on in the ONS matches, as we had some decent fraggers, and good results, but unfortunately, some guys weren't all that fast (never learnt how to dodge jump) and got superseeded by the bigger more established clans.
The point of the clan was to have fun, which I have more than in any other clan I have been in since, and have met some mates that I will never forget...and have stayed in close contact since

Of course, fun is what it's all about. We tried ONS before we started doing TDM and we got it handed to us in almost every match. We couldn't get used to it at all. So we just stuck to what we're good at

Yeah, your first match was vs OLD. Talking about TAM though, it's a great mod but unfortunetly it's kinda killed the TDM side of the game. TAM is a lot easier to just pick up and play as you haven't got to time the weapons/powerups so its easier for players just starting to get into the game, but I agree, there are a lot of good players on this gametype. I recommend giving the Core server a try.

EDIT: Will be great once this game comes out, it would be great to play with you guys in a ocuk clan.

Some really immense players around at the moment, and the reason I love TAm so much..... is because you dont feel like you have to time all the pickups and health packs the whole time... you just get to frag like hell with good map knowledge

Unfortunatley its the only game type most people play on pub servers these days so there is often no choice.

Some of the best players (Take my mate Spiel) hate it but play it all the time through bordom
