New Unreal Tornament 3 Gameplay Footage

Tried TAM for the first time last night, only with bots though as I was tired and couldn't find any servers. :/

I need more convincing, not sure about the round system, be better with a group of people you know I imagine. You mentioned spamming SC, if it's anything like Q3-TDM that would annoy me loads. I've been speccing a few pub servers for Q3 and the spam is CRAZY! Jump, spam 4 grenades, switch to rail, switch to lightening, more grenades; all without seeing an opponent. drove me mad just watching. They'd obviously whup me, but I don't want to have to play like that. :(

Was just kinda joking about the spamming, it's actually very very very hitscan "orientated"
 
Someone mentions the old UT2004 clan and all the old players start crawling out the woodwork, nice to see you guys again. :)

Just made me reminisce, so i had to go look at the old screen shots from a few matches we had, unfortunately most of them were from after i lost my broadband connection.

Available here

If anyone has any others please let me know, wouldn't mind a look for old times sake.

So what are people calling themselves on UT at the moment, I'll try and hunt a few of you down. I make good cannon fodder! :D

Unfortunatley its the only game type most people play on pub servers these days so there is often no choice.

Some of the best players (Take my mate Spiel) hate it but play it all the time through bordom :(

Don't play on Pub servers, the standard of player is usually quite rubbish.
I'm a sadist... i like getting my ass whooped :P
 
This thread a awoken my interest in ut2k4 again as it goes, taking a while to get my eye in again though. Currently can be found in DM Deck 17 server most evenings for at a couple of hours.....just look for the guy missing walljumps with a bad aim - $aN :D

What's your ingame name, I usually go to D17 to warm up before heading off to the TAm servers.?

Think I might have seen him there, but dont know him as a OcUK'er.
I dont play there all that much, because there are players there that annoy the crap out of me, ala Scorpio the King. Rubbish players who bunny hop hop hop, spam Rox and wait for the Redeemer :rolleyes:

Some CTF footage about 5 minutes long.
It took me a while to realise that the footage was a console version footage, I was thinking "How crap is this guy" and how slow is he aiming/moving around... poor sod was playing with a pad :p

nice find there, the engine looks beautiful, gotta say the watching the guy playing with a pad reminds me of speccing u sup3r, some real skillz there :) :p
