Looks like the above was just a HWMonitor issue - it maintains the same clock speed as per HWInfo.I noticed last night that whilst the CPU sits at 3.7ghz now, it's boosting to 4.2ghz on all cores according to HWMonitor during intense gaming sessions. Is that correct? I assumed that turbo was disabled once I'd overclocked the CPU via the multiplier.
I've managed to get my 1600AF to 3.95ghz @ 1.35v, with max temps of around 72c running the Prime95 small FFTs test with the Wraith Prism cooler. I've also got my Corsair Vengeance 3000 CL15 running at 3133 with timings of 16-17-17-35. I've not messed with the voltage on the RAM at all as I've almost no experience of overclocking RAM - I just found that I had hardware failures in Prime95 after around 3 hours running at 3200 at the same timings, so decided to stick with 3133 for now. Does anyone have any advice on how to go about trying to get a bit more out of the RAM please?
Thanks.
