New video iPod's *REAL* pictures!

Who cares? ...why do people go to so much trouble not only to fake pictures but to even bother wasting time debating as to the validity of said pictures, just wait and see.
 
So if the iPod looks exactly like the ones at the top of the page I posted then I guess they were obviously fakes.

As for them being expensive, how is £189 for the current 30GB video iPod expensive? I would say it has a slight price premium but by no means is it a rip off. Now the nanos are a different story they are simply just out of this world in terms of bad value, but if you must have small then I guess you have to pay for it.

Exactly, I honestly think it is unworkable in the "real world", the screen will just be covered in greasy fingerprints in no time and for the ladies with long fingernails the screen will be covered in scratches as well.

I think its a great "concept" but I don't think it will make it to market (you wait 08-Mar-06 it will be confirmed as real) ;)

Exactly so why does he pick on the Nano?
Easy - knock Apple.
Nano flash players are cheap compared to the competition (or were when they were first released).
 
I was thinking a lot more about this Ipod Video thing and I came to the conclusion that they're going to make a mini tablet mac/ipod/media device but still continue with the regular Ipods as the whole look of them (screen, jog dial) has become iconic and it be very suprising if it just disappeared.
 
although the pictures maybe fake, if one is released its gonna be very similar.
that said, why the hell are people saying stuff like "i am definately gonna be getting one" when its not even been released yet?
do people buy these based on looks and brand rather than performance?
oh yeah i forgot, thats exactly what they do. If it wasn;t then the iPod certainly wouldn't have such a huge market share.
each to there own, it looks very interesting. i just wish some of the lovely looking PMPs from Korea would hurry up and get released over here such as the .v43. The only good ones at the moment are the Archos and Cowon players. A bit of competition would be nice.
Touch screen for a PMP is a bad idea though!

Touch screen scroll wheel with Apples record in the way of battery life, not a chance. Youll get 3 hours battery use before it dies. If it does go touch screen, then ill be amazed if they do it to the scroll wheel, either that or they need to design some form of uber battery.
 
IF they release anything like this they better make sure the screen dosent scratch. The current video ipods are %£"*&^( to try and protect. As said above looks amazing but cant see them pulling it off effectively.
