Managed to pick up a second hand Rolex Daytona this weekend, few slight scratches that stand out with the flash but you can't notice them whilst wearing it, recently had a service with Rolex too.

You don't buy a watch like that to wear. You buy it to post a picture of it on a pc forum.

It looks to be in quite poor cosmetic condition based on the pics. You were had if you paid £5.5k for a scratched up watch, Rolex or not. I'm not jumping on the "£10 Casio does the job" bandwagon as I appreciate expensive timepieces myself, I just wouldn't have paid that much for what looks to be a poor example.

I'm guessing you mean you would?
I think he meant that the likes of you wouldn't appreciate the difference in a master crafted timepiece and a cheap knockoff glued together in a sweatshop in the backstreets of Shanghai.

Anyway, enjoy the watch, that's what they are for :)

ok I'll level with everyone, it's not a real Rolex, my dad has had it for a few months now, his mate bought it in Thailand for about £50, I think it's an excellent copy and I was trying to see if anyone could tell the difference :p
