Good way to replenish wiper blades..
Rinse the screen with water, then wash with soap & mitt, rinse well with water
Now get some clean newspaper, splash a load of vinegar on it and rub your screen in up and down motions. Also, put some vinegar on an old cloth and run each wiper blade a few times until no more grime comes off them.
-Obviously if the blades are falling apart, get some new ones

OEM ones will usually always be BOSCH or something like that anyway.
If your car looks fine wearing aero flat wiper blades that cost a tenner or less for a pair then get those, they last as long as OEM ones and look better as well unless your car has skinny wiper arms in which case they look a bit odd. If you're using them a lot then even if they last 3 months they're cheap enough to be worth 2 pairs anyway

Yeah people who seem to like disposable ones! The Bosch blades sold in major retailers last about half a winter on my car compared to 2-3 winters for Valeos. Horses for courses I guess.

You laugh but I actually use the tesco ones on the car.
They don't last as long as others but are fine until they do go, and they only cost £3.00 each when on offer for the aero blades.
Pretty sure they are the originals on the car which isn't too bad considering it's a 55 plate!
The front wipers ironically clear much better on the up stroke than the return stroke. All three wipers skip and make a graunching noise if used when it's persistent drizzle rather than proper heavy rain. The front ones are the flat type whereas the rear I think is a more conventional unit.
I'm leaning towards the Valeo on price/rating ratio at the moment...

Try cleaning them, will only take a few minutes

Trico Neoform is what I have been using on mine and the missus car for the past 3 years and can not fault them.
This is a suggestion that shouldn't be ignored. Buying new wipers won't help for very long/at all if you need to clean the windshield.

As mentioned in the other blades thread, the unbranded ones come from different places even if they look similar and are built to different qualities. You're bound to get an unlucky naff pair at least once!

I use silicone one also, they seem to work well.
They were cheapy ones though, PIAA were something like £30 which seemed a little pricey...

asda have them for a quid atm
Which will last for about a week before they smear, skip and bounce across the screen!

To be fair, my Tesco ones last about 60-70% as long as Bosch ones yet cost £3 when on offer.
No brainer to me.
Unless you like telling everyone you have Rally spec wiper bladez y0! of course
