New Years resolution

Done, base Excel sheet done.

I won't bother filtering out those I've played or completed, I will just go through it methodically.

Lunch, and then I'll get started (a lot of time on my hands atm)

Lucky s.o.b! I barely get time to eat let alone play games for ages.

Good luck to you though, I tried doing this ages ago and I never stuck to it, I didnt have the wheel power lol. I only got as far as the 'A's and then gave up.

I found it hard playing a game from yesteryear when a new shiny one came out as everyone was talking about it, so like a kid in the candy store I went for the new sweetie.

I bid you good luck as GTA V and Dying Light come out very soon! :D

NOTE! This is not including titles like Splinter Cell Blacklist, Assassins Creed Black Flag etc etc on Origin and Uplay, both of those will have seperate lists. The above hasn't been filtered, just a raw list of my library and I'll go through it methodically and mark them off, if I need to play or not as I go. Time for lunch, then spend all evening playing Alan Wake.

Good luck agnes, was nice knowing you.

With this library and with crazy neighbour we won't be seeing you for a while.

I wanted to do this but I can't bring myself to do it, I only have about 40 games though lol

Death by games or neighbor? Lol. She is actually part of the reason behind this, need to take my mind off stuff and this is the best way possible. Back to my gaming roots. Which, again, another note. Only going to play all games in Medium. Not easy.

Update your crazy thread in GD dammit :D

This year i'm going to play some older titles in my library that i always meant to play on release. I've just started Assassins Creed and Fear 2.

Seems daft having top end cards when steam offer yesteryear games at a snip. Had it not been for Steam and GOG, some of these titles would be history.

On the second episode of Alan Wake. It's killing me not collecting all the coffee flasks etc. As I'm a completionist and is often a reason I put games down as I feel it would suck up too much of my life trying to complete them. But this is nice. I'm focusing on the story not the completion %.

Well, I'm stuck!

I only have 12 rounds and annoying, there are 5 small enemies (3 rounds each) and one big one, which is 6 rounds...

I literally can't progress any further without back tracking and exploring every nook and cranny in the hopes to find some ammo, annoying... Why isn't there melee?

You sound like me, the amount of games I've not played because I know it would take many playthroughs to 100% I just let them sit there.

Think this is a great idea though, might try it myself being as we have a similar game list! Alan wake is first up for me as well.

You could set up categories for played games in your steam library - label them 1 to 10 (or 1 to 5, or 1/10 to 10/10, or whatever) and move the game into the appropriate one after finishing it.

Hey pal :D hoping you could help me some :)

as i said before i liked this suggestion even though im not doing the same as the OP

Now i went to put some games in categories some are installed some not and it actually takes the installed games more importantly

Example screenshot

xbgsix.png

In this the games in 10/10 and 8/10 are installed however the game in 9/10 is not installed so it has put it below 8

This is kind of bugging me a little as i would prefer it to be a clear 10-1 not a 10 6 3 5 whatever order it decides :D any ideas?

g about halfway through this afternoon. I'm hoping ti complete Alan Wake and the DLC tomorrow.

Then it's lice: Madness returns. A fun game I've played a little of. o that should be good.

I'll have a look at my account when I'm next on there (might be tonight, possibly tomorrow), and see whether it can be moved around. I've never tried with my categories, just accepted where they are by default. I'd assumed they would be listed in the order they're set up on your categories list
