Newquay

I have only been to the Office and Bunters in Truro. I liked Bunters though was quite a nice bar.

So basically everything is for sale. Shows that they must be great places to pull in the money...

Although it doesn't have the big clubs I honestly prefer Falmouth to Newquay for a night on the pop. There are plenty of good bars in Falmouth (particularly bar 8) that don't cost as much or have the trouble. There aren't even bouncers on the door of wetherspoons in Falmouth!:cool:

Newquay is a travesty in the winter, it is just a joke in the summer. If you come from up country to come and have a holiday in Newquay I pity you.

The local surfers avoid the place like the plague. It's for chavs who can't afford to go abroad.

I went on a stag night ,hotel booked by mate over the internet ,expensive dump ,no shower ,woodchip wallpaper ,no breakfast and they neglected to tell us if your back late you get locked out for the night

Full of poor Bristol folk who can't afford a proper holiday.

We were the only Manc lot there and it kicked off A LOT on our camp site lol.

Wouldn't bother with it tbh, two mates wanna go again this year o_O Amsterdam in June, yes please.

Best day/night was probably the bike ride down to the very bottom and secluded beach with a restaurant which sold Shark, it was special.

Guys,

Are the pubs/clubs anywhere near the beach?

Looking at getting a large'ish villa but I think they are all out of town :(

Most of the places are a 10 minute walk to a beach. Town centre is pretty small. Every club is less than a 7 minute walk from each other.

Cheersd,

So what are should I be looking to stay in really?

I've got no idea so i'm worried i'll find an apartment miles away or something. Are the clubs in the town centre then?

Clubs are only in the town centre. Only club which is a little bit out the way is Pure. But I wouldn't suggest going there anyway.

Most of the surf lodges are situated near the beaches. I would just google some places and then find them on google maps. As long as they are near the grey built up part of Newquay you will be fine. You can always find somewhere then just ask me.

Cabs are dirt dirt cheap if there's a group of you, loads of 8 seaters around that will cost you about a pound each, each way :)
