News just in: MGS 4 - June 12th - New 80GB PS3 Bundle

Not wanting to start another thread but just want to confirm that PS3 games are region free as I may be buying an American on next weekend?
 
Thanks guys, yeah I remembered about the Blu-Rays, its just when I was there last they had the 80gb models with a game and a Blu-Ray for $399. Not wanting to pass that up, or any similar deals again. Got a DS and Phantom Hourglass for $110/120 last time.
 
I was going to get a PSP soon just for God of War, but will wait now until that pack comes out, deep red PSP sounds really nice

Wiimote + Nunchunk is £43, Xbox 360 wireless controller + Play & Charge kit is £48. Accessories are such a rip-off and no doubt the manufacturers make a lot of money out of them. :(
 
this would be the time id get my ps3. definitely getting one when the DS3 is shipped with them and im not bothered about HD size, nor if its got backward compatibility. at the mo hmv here in guernsey are selling 40gb ps3, with two games (a choice out of six) and two blu ray films (a choice out of six) also bundling that with a gold plated hdmi cable too for £297. not sure if i should go for it now or wait for this bundle?
 
I'm glad I imported my DualShock 3 at Christmas.

£32 express-delivered from Asia (with online discounts), and plenty of use out of it so far :)

That sounds like an excellent package tbh. Assuming the choice of games & films are decent.


Also ordered a DS3 for £28, which is cheaper than it will be over here I'm sure :)

well, the films included spiderman three i think i didnt look at that. supposei should have :p the games choice included drakes forune for one and ratchet and clank, another one i think was DMC. ill pop in on sat to have a better look.

Spiderman 3 is poop, so it's usually the one they throw in :-/ (great transfer tho). Also Casino Royal & 300 seem to be included in most packages which are both excellent films which I would highly recommend. As for games well assuming you have a 360 then both Ratchet & Uncharted I would highly recommend. If not then maybe Uncharted & DMC or Burnout assuming you have the option..

UT3 is also excellent is if it's an option, and again if you already have a 360.
