News on the new Lian Li's

v300 and S80 are the two that have not got through most retail channels yet.

Typical that two of the three cases I want to see are the ones that take a age to come into stock.

I have had v1000's as my main rig for a couple of years, that is insane for me as I used to switch every couple of months!

S80 is the only case I consider a possible upgrade from the S80, the TJ07 was a complete failure in my eyes, again this is my opinion but I think it is one of the biggest rip offs made; stacker but in aluminium giving you temps that only look good in figures. Also a £200 case should not have issues, same with my disgust at buying a v1000.

Thank god for the V1000+; I just hope they get the S80 right first time, it took them 5 years to get the PC7 perfect mind.
 
The drive bays out of each side eman the v300 will be tubby, but under the desk as a server box for me personally that one has me drooling, the hard drive potential in a case of its style is phenominal!

Not just you, have you seen it in person as my gosh its a beauty! I even want it in black!

And the copper Lian Li looks great to me, its not over doing it, the shine is what makes that case so imagine it with a 201b style shine.

(Although anodised not painted)
 
Little update, all of the cases Lian Li have on there website currently are in the country, although some are not in retail channels yet. :)
 
Yup, although I have it from a good source on these forums that they are at the distributors now. :)

All the others ones I have managed to find out about myself via Lian Li.
 
It is not the replacement for anything really. :)

Completely different style of case to the V series, looks to be a seriously low CFM case, has double sided panels which should reduce the noise quite a bit.

Just looks good all round! :)

It will be a fair bit more than the v1100+ so it wont be in competition with it I would imagne.
 
Wait for me to get one first.

And its a refined cooling solution, low CFM so of course reviewers will rate it low!

Thing is, its designed to be a case that actually works are blocking out hdd seek noises, and I think that it will cool well enough. :)

Just wait until its in the users hands, you have no idea if the reviewer read the manual. (v1000+ review with read fan as exhaust and the blower, what were they on! (techie site))

Oh and I think sometime next month for it!

As long as it isnt bad like the 767 I will be happy. :)
 
I am anticipating £180, but until a few retaillers get them in stock and the pricing becomes competative we will not know for sure.
 
Two places actually, the one who I ordered from in stock it actually is not, and you get put on a waiting list. :mad:

Last time I contemplate anything from them, hope OcUK get it in. :(
 
Finally, weve had the 101, 201 v600, G50, G70 since feb from Lian Li.

Not bad going.

Oh and I would like to point out I got another price guesstimate right. ;)

Now we are just waiting on the v300 Cubey & K60.

Think there may be a S80 without a door coming soon aswell, you heard it here first. ;)
