Awesome, thats like a 10 minute drive. I'm sure they will, also if I'm nice I might blag a ride if FFOC meets are anything to go by. :p
 
GT6 gets my vote - although you'd better be handy with the filler! Nice simple cars though to work with though. I too am looking at a classic (as well as an LCR!) but more for track days.

Either a Porsche Carrera CS or a late seventies turbo, or possibly a standard Carrera 3.2. The logic being that they're compartively easy to maintain, and quite reliable for going round a track all day. May consider a Lotus Cortina, but that would be more for historical racing, and maybe a little slower!

With the Porsche, you can pretty much drive to the circuit, check it and tweak as necessary, drive around the circuit and then back home.

Am in no rush, so have left myself 2 years to source the car.
