Of course it is. You're absolutely right and have never been wrong about things, ever.
Relationships are made up on individuals and these same individuals by consequence also make up the society around them. If they can't apply a degree of continuity with their moral framework through low moral parsimony, then how does that fair for society at large? You're an engineer, do the math.
Of course, these individuals could apply decent morals at a societal scale but are hypocritical ***** when it comes to getting some self gratification; either way, they're dragging the species backwards.
As for the work-shy jibe, you're talking out of your backside and you know it. You know what I think of you and I don't care what you think of me for many reasons.
