How are these new consoles treating you?

Were they worth all the hype or do you think you wouldve been better off waiting a few months longer?

They have nicer graphics and some silly social media features. TBH I don't regret buying it early one bit even if I don't have much to do. Just like having new gadgets.

I'm looking forward to what the PS4 will bring - choice is a little thin at the mo, which is to be expected, but the power is there and the new pad is great. I'll be picking up an XB1 when some exclusives I must have come out - likely the next Halo. The WiiU has finally come into it's own and in recent months has been getting most of my playtime. It'll be interesting to see how long it takes the PS4 and XB1 to match it's lineup.

I'm very happy with mine. Got a around 6 games - 3 bought and 3 for free - for my PS4. BF4 is taking up most of my time.

Dont own either yet, but spent a -lot- of time playing KI at a mates.
Cant say im missing not having one, Mario > everything available next gen atm.

Bring on Destiny and TitanFall.

Not too sure it was worth adopting so early. Everyone I know is still on last gen and I can't even party chat with them! Then they've also made a mess with stuff that didn't need fixing, like the friends list. But I do like the new follower option stuff on the XO.

Only plus for me is with FM5 and the rather excellent rumble triggers. Apart from that, i'm on Rome 2 or Assetto Corsa.*

*lies, revising really.

No regrets with the XBox One. Games are very good and will only get better over the coming years, I like the Kinect functionality and I am looking forward to how that develops, the controller is light years ahead of my old PS3's controller, but then again a turd with buttons and sticks would be and overall it's mostly positives.

Not a big fan of the interface, I had a Windows 8 phone I had to get rid of very quickly as I hated the interface, but it does the job and I can live with it.

I will get the PS4 when a game comes out I must have, Uncharted or some other game I am not aware of yet, and I fully expect to be happy with that from what others have said.

I'm enjoying both consoles, the PS4 is a very simple design and has a few features to add whilst I feel like the XB1 has a lot of features but isn't a finished product. Both of them have a lot of room to grow and improve, I've been having fun though the games are great.

Killzone for PS4 from a mechanic stand point isn't going to give you anything you haven't seen in an FPS campaign before but from a graphic perspective it's really impressive and just shows what the PS4 is capable of for the future, call me a troll if you like but I feel like the game is as visually impressive as anything I've seen on PC before. The PS4 for me personally has a brighter future but I think both are going to mature nicely over the next year or two.

Loving my PS4 , although the store and game feeds don't always load for me which I think is a bug that should hopefully be patched.

Is it next Gen , defiantly!

Just cant wait to see what the ps4 has to offer in the years to come.

Not amazed with my PS4, the current games are a bit meh tbh, I'm more excited about the exclusives it will bring in the future. BF4 is just more of the same we've seen before, COD ghosts is just more of the same we've seen before, Resogun is ok but when it's finished it's finished. The rest are just there.

Absolutely love my Xbox one. Kinect is great, been playing fifa mostly, but it's like a brand new game to the 360 version. Played through cod which is just cod really, same old. Have Dead rising 3 for Christmas off the gf and should pick ryse up soon enough. Reading about all the games that are getting released soon and I've no idea how I'm going to play them all as they all sound pretty damn good lol.

I haven't stopped playing mine tbh, the poor PC is feeling a little left out.

likewise. got a ps4 and poor old pc hasn't been used for gaming since. I looked at my steam stats only yesterday and my weekly game time has plummeted whereas the ps4 gets used every single day.

FIFA 14, battlefield 4, ac black flag, Zen pinball 2 and resogun has over taken my gaming time and netflix picks up the movies and tv shows again on ps4.

poor old gaming laptop, hopefully it'll get some loving again soon

I intend to get a PS4 once the demand has died down, I've just got a brand new plasma with absolutely amazing picture quality so I'm looking forward to seeing some native 1080P games. I'm really hoping that GTA V is released on next gen.

I might get a Wii U first though if there are any cheap Premiums in the sales.
